Welcome to our first newsletter! If you're seeing this, you are super important to me as one of the earliest supporters of this mission. I spent a lot of time considering how to write and structure these letters, because I don't want to be another generic sales and marketing email.
I want to share with you why the heck I care so much about Barncat App and the future of this company. I have spent my whole life learning about horses and nearly as long being a passionate entrepreneur.
The more I learn, the more I am concerned about horses and the equine industry as a whole.
I want to see higher standards of care, treatment, and wellbeing for our horses that is based on research and the horse's best interest. I want to see the industry thrive. I want to see good horsemanship and sportsmanship. I want to see sound governing and enforcement of rules and regulations by national and international organizations. I want to see better access and dedication to education about biomechanics, physiology, and animal behavior for both professionals and amateurs.
The best way to make positive, sound change is through research and education. At Barncat, it is not only our mission to provide you a great equine health and performance app, but to facilitate positive change for horses and equestrians globally.
